1099  The registrar's index of company names

(1)     The registrar of companies must keep an index of the names of the companies and other bodies to which this section applies.

This is “the registrar's index of company names”.

(2)     This section applies to—

(a)     UK-registered companies;

(b)     any body to which any provision of the Companies Acts applies
